1. Who we are
L'OSIER Journal is an independent editorial publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by L'OSIER restaurant or Shiseido Parlour. All restaurant names, dishes, and trademarks referenced belong to their respective owners and are mentioned solely for editorial commentary.
2. What we collect
This site does not collect personal information. We do not run advertising, behavioural profiling, analytics with persistent identifiers, or third-party trackers. There are no contact forms, account registrations, or transactions.
3. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie (or local storage entry) to remember your language preference (English or Japanese) and your cookie banner choice. Nothing in this storage identifies you. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
4. Hosting and logs
The site is served by a static hosting provider that may keep short-lived request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are not used for advertising and are not shared by us with third parties.
5. Children
The Journal is intended for an adult readership. We knowingly collect no information from children.
6. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold information about you, contact the editor at the address on our Contact page.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
